- Retirement Apartments (Residential Care Apartment Complex)
- We offer a variety of apartment living options including single rooms with microwaves/refrigerator and private bath, a one-room efficiency with kitchenette and private bath, and larger apartment with living room, one or two bedrooms, full kitchen and private bath for independent living. Weekly housekeeping services are included in the monthly fee.
Apartment residents may cook their own meals or join other residents in the pleasent dining room, where three meals are served daily. Should services be needed to support independent living, residents may contract for services including nursing assessment during a temporary illness, medication distribution, whirlpool bath, foot care, linen and personal laundry service, and meals delivered to their apartment.
- Westview (Community-Based Residential Facility)
- Westview rooms are designed for persons who are unable or uncomfortable living alone and require limited assistance. Westview can help these residents live more independently while avoiding the expense of a nursing care facility. Westview is the only licensed CBRF in the Richland County area associated with a skilled nursing facility and apartments.
Resident accommodations include semi-private or private rooms, with large windows which overlook the beautiful setting, private bathrooms, and ample closets. With each resident bringing his or her own belongings to furnish and personalize the room, it becomes comfortable and homelike.
Helpful staff can assist with dressing, grooming, bathing and toileting plus supervision and assistance with medications as well as escorting residents to the many activities held at Schmitt Woodland Hills and also to meals in the dining room. Additional services are provided based on the resident's needs and desires. Westview offers each resident personal services by a certified nursing assistant under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Residents may receive skilled services up to 3 hours weekly from a licensed nurse.

- Health Center (Skilled Nursing Care Facility)
- The Health Center is designed for persons who need continuous nursing care. Licensed by the State of Wisconsin as a skilled nursing facility, the Health Center has a registered or licensed practical nurse on duty 24 hours a day. All residents of Schmitt Woodland Hills have access to health services from the Health Center, and when accommodations are not needed by residents, admission is open to the general public.
Health Center residents may move from the Health Center to a more independent accommodation at Schmitt Woodland Hills as their health improves. And, should one member of a married couple require skilled nursing care, the partner can reside close by in a familiar setting.
Apartment or Westview residents may utilize nursing care services if their needs increase; a move to the Health Center may be made smoothly with help of staff and family, while remaining in a familiar place.
- Transportation
- We offer transportation services to people with disabilities or who are over 60 years old and have difficulty walking.
We provide rides for shopping, medical appointments, personal needs, social outings, employment and other needs. Charter trips are also available if you would like to plan an outing for a group.
All service is curb to curb. Assistance is provided by the driver from your curb to your destination. Those people who have difficulty using steps may request use of the lift. Door to door service will be provided if there is an accessible ramp available.
