Some physical changes come on slowly, like the effects of aging. Others happen suddenly, such as a stroke or an accident. Riverside Rehab provides those patients needing short term rehabilitation with the care to improve their quality of life.

What's Provided Riverside Rehab provides patients with comprehensive: Skilled rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Skilled medical services including, but not limited to, post surgical care, respiratory services, wound care, intravenous therapy and renal disease services. Private rooms featuring cable television and telephone (including many rooms with a scenic river view) River View Dining with a view overlooking the peaceful Chippewa River.

Skilled Rehabilitation

Our rehabilitation department is respected throughout the area due largely to our partnership with MJ Care, a national therapy company that has been providing high quality and compassionate services for more than 25 years. Working as an integral member of our Riverside Rehab Care Team, the therapists are in regular contact with the patient’s physician and family. Therapy can begin for most patients on the first day of admission if their physician orders it. Home evaluations are conducted prior to discharge to ensure smooth transition for the patient and caregiver training if appropriate.
