The Attic Angel Association is a non-profit independent organization of volunteers who improve the quality of life within our community. Members meet health and human service needs through volunteer and financial support with special concern for children and the elderly in Dane County, Wisconsin. A major focus is Attic Angel Place, a living and health care community for older adults. The Attic Angel Association is the oldest non-profit philanthropic organization in Dane County, celebrating more than a century of service.

The Association began in 1889 with a few young women who helped others from the resources found in their families' attics. One of their fathers dubbed them "Attic Angels". Today, over 550 members of the Attic Angels give over 41,000 hours of service annually, and have contributed over $4 million in outreach to 100 community organizations.


     
          
The Attic Angel Association founded, owns and operates Attic Angel Place, a living and health care community for older adults. Association members keep in very close contact with the residents at Attic Angel Place, volunteering thousands of hours assisting in programs. It is common for volunteers to know the residents by name and take special interest in their needs.
